Claire Dalton

Claire presented at the Midwestern Association of Forensic Sciences 2023 annual meeting in Detroit. Her research is expanding on recently graduated Dr. Meghan Prusinowski's research on establishing a quantitative methodology for performing physical fit comparisons of fractured automotive headlights and taillights. This conference provided the opportunity to speak to practitioners currently performing physical fits within their own laboratories. Claire presented the ten observed features for automotive physical fits along with our proposed documentation template. Practitioners were then able to inform her of how they believed this research would work within their own laboratory and what may require further research before implementation.
