A native of Morgantown, Esposito has extensive experience with founding and scaling
new businesses that work to solve public sector problems through technology innovation
and platform development.
In addition to leading ACME, he is a managing partner with Tactical Ventures as
well as counsel and co-chair of the government contracts practice group with
Spilman Thomas & Battell.
He graduated from WVU in 1996 with bachelor’s degrees in economics and history.
Esposito went on to earn a master’s degree in modern history from the University
of Oxford and a law degree from Georgetown University.
He resides in Morgantown with his wife, Michelle, and daughters, Natalie and Elizabeth,
and is deeply committed to supporting the growth of Honors College students.

About Patrick Esposito
Patrick Esposito, co-founder & C-suite executive of ACME General Corp. and
Mile Out Inc., brings extensive experience with founding and scaling new ventures
that solve public sector problems through technology innovation and platform
development with an emphasis on user-centric problem solving, big data analytics,
information fusion, and advanced design technologies. Mr. Esposito has served
as program manager for multiple $20M+ annually funded programs for the United
States Department of Defense (DoD), as well as other multi-million dollar Federal
and commercial programs. He is lead architect and co-inventor of four patented
Internet of Things (IoT) and information fusion technologies utilized by various
public sector organizations and lead architect and co-inventor of four additional
AI/ML and scalable data analytics technologies. Mr. Esposito was co-Founder and
Chief Executive Officer of Augusta Systems, a venture-backed, Inc. 500, IoT &
information fusion start-up focused on government and industrial applications
(acquired by Intergraph, now Hexagon) and co-founder, chief product leader, and
a board member for Resilient Technologies, an early pioneer in advanced design
airless tires for military vehicles (acquired by Polaris Industries and, subsequently,
by Bridgestone). He has also served as Chief Legal and Risk Officer at MVB Financial
Corp. (NASDAQ: MVBF) and as in-house counsel for a state governor. Esposito earned
a J.D. from Georgetown University, an M.St. from the University of Oxford (University
College) as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, and two B.A. degrees from West Virginia
University (cum laude).
