Amy Cyphert

Program Coordinator

Amy Cyphert is the new Director of the ASPIRE Office, which assists students who are interested in applying for nationally competitive scholarships (Amy is a 2000 Truman Scholar herself) as well as graduate and professional school. Prior to becoming the Director, Amy was the Program Coordinator and Assistant Director of ASPIRE. A Morgantown native, Amy is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and a cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School, and she worked as an attorney in Manhattan for several years. Amy also teaches several courses to both undergraduates and law students, including Philosophy of Law and Appellate Advocacy. She truly enjoys meeting and working with students, so stop by her office in Honors Hall to talk about scholarships or graduate school or just to ooh and ahh at pictures of her adorable three month old twins.
