Can I be admitted if I already attend WVU?

Admittance is not limited to incoming first year students. Anyone who already attends WVU and has between 14 and 34 credit hours can become a part of the Honors College. If you earned a 3.7 cumulative GPA without an I or W on your transcript, you can submit an application for consideration to be admitted to the Honors College. This application can be downloaded below and may be printed and brought to the Honors College office at 248 Stalnaker Hall.

Some students in majors such as Exercise Pysiology, Occupational Therapy, Art/Music/Theater, Nursing, Pharmacy, Education, Animal and Veterinary Sciences, and Engineering find it difficult to complete the College as second semester admits because of the very structured nature of their major, which does not allow them the time to complete the required 24 hours of Honors course work.
