Financial Aid Information
At WVU, your dreams are affordable. Every year, qualified WVU students receive millions of dollars in grants, loans, and work study. Many academic scholarships are also available, including many private scholarships.
For detailed information about the costs of attending WVU, please check out the Financial Aid web site.
The first step toward receiving need-based aid is filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. This form is available from your high school guidance counselor, from WVU's Financial Aid Office, or can be downloaded from the FAFSA web site. WVU's school code is 003827.
Students accepted to the Honors College who have no financial aid or other WVU-sponsored scholarships are awarded $250 per semester for as long as they remain in the program.
