What is the purpose of the Alumni Association?
Our purpose is two-fold:
- to foster and enhance educational opportunities for the students of the WVU Honors Program.
- to bring together alumni and friends of the WVU Honors Program.
Who are the current officers?
The current officers (with a description of their offices) are:

President: Grant Bromhal
Duties: The President shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Society and shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors. He/she shall enforce the rules and By-Laws of the Society, nominate committee and subcommittee chairmen for confirmation by the Board of Directors and serve as ex-officio member of all committees and subcommittees

Vice President: Jay Cole
Duties: The Vice President shall perform the duties and exercise the powers of the President during the absence or disability of the President.

Secretary: Brad Keller
Duties: The Secretary shall be responsible for keeping all documents and records of the Society including but not limited to recording minutes of all meetings of the Board of Directors. In the absence of the Secretary at meetings, the President shall appoint a temporary secretary to record the minutes.

Treasurer: Alyssa Sloan
Duties: The Treasurer shall maintain the financial records of the Society. The Treasurer shall receive all money and deposit said money in an account in the name of the Society approved by the Board of Directors. And, shall disburse all monies as have been approved by the Board of Directors and are due and payable. In addition, the Treasurer shall prepare and present a financial report for each meeting of the Board of Directors. The Treasurer may be the same person as the Secretary.
What is the Alumni listserv?
The listserv is an email distribution list (dlist) and the primary means of communication for the alumni society. It is primarily used by the officers to disseminate information to you concerning upcoming events, programs, etc. The listserv is at Honors-Alumni@wvnvm.wvnet.edu, but please do not send mail to that address unless it is to be shared with all alumni. To subscribe to the dlist, simply send an email to listserv@wvnvm.wvnet.edu from your email account with the words SUBSCRIBE HONORS-ALUMNI in the body of the message.

How do I make a donation to the alumni association?
A donation to the Alumni Society will be put in our account to fund our activities (such as the Reunion and Homecoming events) and our communication (mailings to alumni). Eventually, we plan to use the money to directly improve the Honors Program. To donate to the Alumni Society, write a check made out to the WVU Foundation with "William E. Collins Honors Alumni" on the Memo line. Send the check to the Honors Program at the above address. Remember, any donation that you give is tax deductible.
