The Honors Leadership Academy is a three-week “mini-semester” workshop for incoming first-year WVU Honors College students. Students who attend the Honors Leadership Academy (or HLA) will receive three credits for the class Leadership 201 (Principles of Leadership) and an additional one credit for University 101/Honors 199 (Honors Orientation, a required class for all first-year Honors students). HLA students will live on campus in Stalnaker Hall for the duration of the program.
HLA is a fantastic way to start your college experience. Apply now! Space is limited and admittance will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
“I loved HLA. It was the best college preparation I could ever have had. It has made me so much more excited about coming in the fall!!” - HLA ’08 participant
